When a client who has an existing contract with us indicates that they would like you to service their account as the Broker of Record, we require that:

• The client submit written notification indicating their new preference;
• This letter should be on their company letterhead. If it is not on letterhead, we reserve the right to contact the client if we are unable to determine that the Broker of Record letter originates with the account;
• Broker of Record changes will be made effective no sooner than the first of the month following the date of the letter, or the date we receive the letter if there is a delay in submission of the letter;
• It is our policy to inform the previous broker when we receive a Broker of Record letter. The previous broker is notified of the request, but we do not include a copy of the letter we received.
