Lovelace Health Plan is preparing to implement the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA). We have formed an Executive Committee and a Project Committee that is working diligently to research, interpret and implement the various provisions in the final regulations. We ensure that our products will be compliant with the regulations upon the required effective dates.
PPACA was signed into law on March 23, 2010 and is being phased in over the next five years.
