Jim Hughes has served as the Manager of Training for the Lovelace Health Plan since June 2008. He was recently promoted to Director of Training and Organizational Development in February 2011.
Jim began his career in the field of Workplace Learning and Performance in 1995. Prior to joining Lovelace Health Plan, Jim was an Independent Training Consultant and worked as a Training Consultant for University of New Mexico Continuing Education and Central New Mexico Community College Workforce Training Center. He has also served as Youth Development Director for the YMCA of Albuquerque.
Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts in education from Thiel College in Pennsylvania and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in Albuquerque. Additionally, he holds numerous certifications in his field.
His approach is designed to allow him to connect with his customers in a personal way while implementing the latest training and organizational development methodologies. Among his many qualifications, Jim is skilled in instructional systems design, facilitation, leadership/management development, strategic planning and organizational communication.
