At the Lovelace Community Health Plan, a Salud! program, we know that picking a health plan is a very difficult and important decision. Lovelace has been providing top quality health care to New Mexicans for more than 80 years. We’re proud to continue serving the residents of New Mexico through the Salud! program. Value Added Benefits
Every family is different, with unique health care needs. That’s why we offer a number of enhancements to the standard Medicaid services and benefits:

  • Full Medicaid benefits provided to Medicaid members with pregnancy only eligibility. This is category of eligibility 035.
  • Acupuncture for some medical problems such as pain management.
  • Grant Funds available for American Indian and Alaska Native Lovelace members to use for traditional healing services.
  • Infant, toddler and booster car seats provide at no charge when members get preventative care.
  • Transportation of siblings to appointments. This is provided if the member has no other transportation.

Lovelace Community Health Plan has a disease management program for people with asthma, Type 2 diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart failure and/or high cholesterol. Registered nurses (RNs) call members to discuss concerns, educate and provide guidance about medications, laboratory tests and exams. They also assist our members with setting realistic goals.
