Traditional Medicine Enhanced Benefits
The Traditional Medicine Enhanced Benefit (TMEB) is a value added service for the federally recognized American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations living in the state of New Mexico. This benefit provides supplemental financial support to AI/AN who are members of Lovelace Salud! or Lovelace State Coverage
Insurance (SCI) and wish to use traditional ceremonies or healing practices as part of their medical treatment. TMEB funds are given on an inpatient or outpatient basis.
