

Dr. Sanchez earned both her Master of Science degree in Neuropsychology and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of New Mexico. She completed her APA internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Services Center.
Dr. Sanchez started her professional career at the VA working with Vietnam and Gulf War veterans, and later switched her clinical focus to at-risk teens in the community. Prior to joining Lovelace Health Plan five years ago, she held similar positions with Molina, Cimarron and Aspen Behavioral Health.
Dr. Sanchez has also had a private practice since 2001 and in 2006 completed the curriculum required for psychologists to prescribe psychotropic medications. She is active in both the New Mexico Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.
