ENHANCED BENEFITS:
We understand that every family is different, each with unique healthcare needs. That’s why we offer a number of enhancements to the services and benefits we offer our members.
New members receive a welcome call from a Lovelace Community Health Plan (LCHP) representative. This is an opportunity to ask us questions and for us to help identify any additional needs you may have so we can help you make the most of your benefit package. Members with special health care needs are contacted by our qualified team of case managers and/or nurses in our disease management department.
Lovelace case managers are dedicated to the health and overall well-being of our members.
Lovelace Community Health Plan has a disease management program designed to meet the needs of New Mexicans. This is a telephonic program available to members throughout the state of New Mexico.
In addition to the standard benefit package, Lovelace Community Health Plan provides additional benefits to include:
- Baby Love Program
- Free Car Seat
- Healthy Trails program
- S.T.O.P (Stop Tobacco for Optimal Prevention)
- Full Medicaid benefits, including vision and dental, during pregnancy

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
When we don’t feel well, we go to the doctor. But sometimes the problem isn’t only physical. Things like anger, depression, and stress can cause headaches, stomachaches, and other symptoms.
New Mexico’s Salud! program includes behavioral health benefits. These benefits are provided by Value Options. The staff at Lovelace Community Health Plan is happy to assist you in contacting Value Options for your behavioral health needs. You may also contact Value Options directly by dialing 1-888-251-7511.
